I was bored so I thought of looking up stuff on my zodiac sign (can you guess which one it is?) and I found this site that eerily enough describes exactly how I know myself. Pretty freaky, considering the fact that I read horoscopres for fun and not for actual guidance in life. Anyway, I just felt like sharing what was written about us Pisceans. (BTW, this doesn’t necessarily mean that I now want to live my life based on “what the stars are saying about me” or whatever. I just really enjoyed reading this particular interpretation of my sign. )

The Frustrated Traveler

Someday, I wanna be able to actually travel the Philippines. I wanna see the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, the beaches of Palawan, the mountains of Sagada… Heck, I just wanna see what nature has to offer in my homeland. I mean, come on. I’ve seen the Niagara Falls but I’ve never been anywhere near the Pagsanjan Falls! Talk about lame.

Now this is not to say that I have complaints about having had the chance to travel internationally in the past. Of course I’m happy that I had the opportunity to see the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Hong Kong. These are great places, really. It’s just that I’ve been a Filipino for almost 21 years and yet I’ve only ever been to Baguio, Tagaytay, Laguna, and Pampanga. Not so bad, right? Wrong. Whenever my family and I go to those places we never go sight-seeing or whatever.

So now I’m thinking of setting up a five-year local traveling plan. Once a year (starting 2009) I’m gonna grab a few friends (or maybe my sister and cousin) and soak on some local culture. Nothing too extravagant and expensive, of course. I’ll probably start small and work my way up. Yeah, that sounds practical enough. *fingers crossed*

So Much For That Hiatus

Right. Hiatus my booty. LOL! I guess I really shouldn’t fight the urge to blog, huh? Anyway, today I took the last of my final exams for this semester. Finally I can drop all thoughts of quota grades and project deadlines and just do what I want to do – at least for the next three weeks (give or take a few days).

It’s all pretty sad, though. I mean, over this short (but slow) semester, I’ve found some pretty good acquaintances/friends in my classes. This is the part that sucks about being an irregular student. Unlike the rest of the college population, I’m never sure of who my classmates for the next semester will be. I have to start all over again come November 5. I’ll live, of course, but I would so prefer if I could have my classes with the blocks I’ve familiarized myself with over the past four months.

On Hiatus

Wow, my last blog was weeks ago and here I am typing about going on hiatus. Yeah, I just really can’t find it in me to blog. School’s almost over – finally, that’s out of the way, at least for a few weeks – but I still feel like I’m too lazy to tap-a-tap-tap away. So, yeah. An indefinite hiatus is in order. See you all again soon (or later)! =)

Out Of The Blue

Just a few random thoughts:

• There was an earthquake a few minutes ago. I think it lasted for quite a while. It wasn’t the usual five-second mini-earthquake. It was more of a one-minute ground-dancing.
• I’m currently torn between getting my hair trimmed or waiting for it to grow out.
• I think the concept of bathing is one of the best things ever to be discovered.
• My heart is divided into five sections. One for Drake Bell, one for Zac Efron, and one for each Jonas Brother.
• I can’t believe I just typed all of that.
• There’s really no point to this post so I’m ending it here.
