Out Of The Blue

with 2 comments

Just a few random thoughts:

  • There was an earthquake a few minutes ago. I think it lasted for quite a while. It wasn’t the usual five-second mini-earthquake. It was more of a one-minute ground-dancing.
  • I’m currently torn between getting my hair trimmed or waiting for it to grow out.
  • I think the concept of bathing is one of the best things ever to be discovered.
  • My heart is divided into five sections. One for Drake Bell, one for Zac Efron, and one for each Jonas Brother.
  • I can’t believe I just typed all of that.
  • There’s really no point to this post so I’m ending it here.

For Lack Of A Better Title

without comments

This is me trying my best to come out with a readable post. A lot’s been happening lately but I can’t seem to put those into words. It’s probably cause I don’t know how to organize my life. I have so much to finish, so much to attend to. School is hell, as always. I just can’t wait until I finally get to freakin’ leave! All these papers and unnecessary whatnots (trust me, they’re unnecessary to the extreme) are giving me headaches and causing my skin to go prematurely old on me! Ugh. I sooo need a break…

Just An Opinion

When choosing blogs to link I have two things that I base my decisions on. In no particular degree of importance these are grammar and content. Now since content is pretty much self explanatory I’ll skip explaining about it and just move on to grammar.

Oftentimes, I am very obsessive when it comes to the former. Unwillingly, I find myself cringing when I spot grammatical errors that are too obvious to be missed. Don’t get me wrong, I know I make mistakes, too. I just get peeved when I see entries that use both the present and past tense in the same sentence/paragraph/anecdote/whatever (in a manner that’s just really, really, really unacceptable). You know what I mean, right? I’d post an example but I can’t really find that one particular article I have in mind right now.

Anyway, another mistake I often find is in the use of prepositions. In, on, and at are not interchangeable. I’m pretty sure they can be defined by a dictionary or a grammar book. So, yeah. Now that that’s out of the bag I suppose I can live a bit more peacefully. Please don’t hate me for this, by the way. I’m merely stating what I’m pretty sure you’re aware of, too.

All In A Night’s Work

with 2 comments

I just got home from a whole day of non-sense laughter with my friend, Joy. We had cream-based frappes at Starbucks, sour cream and chives popcorn in the theater (where we watched The Gravedancers), six-inch sandwiches at the new Subway, and fruit shakes at Juice Avenue. Overall it was a very delicious evening. LOL! Anyway, I’m too lazy to blog about everything in detail so I’ll just post pictures! =) Here it goes:

Starbucks, pre-movie.

Subway, post-movie.

She looks quite hungry, wouldn’t you agree?

Picture perfect!

Juice Avenue: One last stop before heading home.

Take Care of My SaiPod, Please

with 2 comments

Yeah, so my iPod has a name. Big whoop. JD from Scrubs named his iPod “Toto” and I don’t see anyone complaining about that. Ha-ha! Anyway, I left SaiPod with the Mac people to have her repaired. She hasn’t been functioning properly lately and after months of denial, I finally left her at Power Mac, Greenbelt to be checked – and possibly (HOPEFULLY) replaced with a new one (which I will be naming SaiPod, Jr).

It’s rather sad, though. I’ve had my iPod since November of 2007 and I’ve been using her almost everyday ever since. I guess this means I’m a music lover. Uh-huh, that’s it. I mean, what else would I be? How would you describe a person who listens to music while surfing the ‘net, watching TV or a movie, reading a book, riding to school, and well… you get the idea.

There’s no point to this post, really. I just felt that I had to let my love for SaiPod out to the rest of the world. I love you, SaiPod. I’ll be missing you while you’re away. =(
