I’m Back… I think
So the past two weeks have been pretty… well, busy I guess? I have three major subjects at the moment, two of which are to help me define which minor track (specialization – advertising, broadcast journalism, print journalism, or development communication) I will be choosing/assigned to (depending on certain factors) come next school year. It’s pretty overwhelming, to be honest. I suppose I thought I was ready when in fact I’m really not. Heck, I don’t even know if I want to go through with all of this. Right now the only thing I am sure of is that my brother is going to kill me if I do stop (again) so like I said in my “about me” page, I’m stuck!
Oh, to be young and dependent on your family! >.<
I Should Be The One Behind The Wheel
To those of you who aren’t familiar with the band Incubus, the title for this post is a line from their song, Drive. Anyway, on to more important matters.
The last day of break is tomorrow and I still haven’t enrolled, meaning I have to drag myself over to school tomorrow to do just that. Yeah, not exactly the most exciting thing in the world. But I guess three weeks of bumming around the house is enough to drive me up the wall. I think I’m ready to return to the halls of St. Scholastica’s College. But then again, I might change my mind once I see my schedule (I’ll keep you posted).
Frankly, that’s about the only thing that excites me about a new semester – the fresh schedule. Once everything else sinks in, I’m back to a state of “I-so-don’t-want-to-be-here.” I’m sure you know what it’s like, right?
Yeah. Well, I just wanted to blog for the sake of blogging. I was planning on writing something a little more dramatic but I decided against it for the time being. Maybe tomorrow, though. We’ll see!
=)
Tom Felton’s Kinda Hot
I must say, Draco and The Malfoys are hell-a funny! =) Give their songs a listen if you’re looking for something to do. Admittedly, I’m no Harry Potter fan but I certainly enjoy listening to them. I especially love the song from which I got the title of this post. It’s available on YouTube, in case you want to give it a try.
P.S.
I think the title is an understatement. Tom Felton’s DEFINITELY hot.
“Bata Ka Pa”
(Or, in English, “you’re still young/you’re just a kid.”)
Every time I hear someone saying this to me I just get so royally ticked off! Yeah, I know I’m only 20. I’m aware that there’s still so much out there that I haven’t experienced. But I mean come on! How will I ever “grow up” and “mature” if people will always be breathing down my neck and telling me that I’m too young to be doing so and so.
Anyway, I just had to get that off my chest. Really though I don’t mind that my taste in certain things (music, movies, etc.) hasn’t evolved like the rest of my peers. I enjoy watching Disney Channel movies and listening to stuff by Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. I still read books meant for kids the ages of my nephew and nieces, too. These are just things that I’ve grown accustomed to doing. I definitely don’t think it’s grounds for saying that I’m too fragile to face what life offers.
Power to the people. LOL!
